Peak Gondola Return Ride

Sit back and enjoy the Peak Gondola ride to 1649m, where you’ll be high above the valley below. Enjoy world-famous views over the Whakatipu Basin and back to the divide of the Southern Alps. 

At the top of Peak Gondola you can enjoy our viewing platform, take a short hike to the summit or play New Zealand’s highest disc golf course (discs available to rent from Guest Services on the mountain). From the base building, you can enjoy a delicious lunch and beverages at the Café 1200 restaurant and bar and we have loads of fun games and activities on the deck.
